In this secction I showcase an independent project I worked on during my undergraduate studies.
I started working with 3D in college back in 2020, and it's been my main interest as an animator ever since.
The work showcased in this section is part of a project for a documentary on the history of the city of Florianópolis, from the early 50's to the late 70's.
The first part of the project consists on the creation of a 3D model of a specific region of downtown Florianópolis to be used as asset on the documentary, serving as visual aid to the audience, showing the changes the city went through during these 30 years.
The models were made from scratch on Autodesk 3ds Max, and the rendered images were produced using V-Ray.
Most of the models were made using modular 3D models techniques, which consists on creating elements that can be used multiple times on each model. This technique fit very well on the scope of this project, as it's seen on the 3D models and rendered images below a lot of usage of the same elements on each building, specially windows and doors.
This is a work in progress, reason why some of the models aren't as finished as they're supposed to be for the final product.
