In this secction you can see some of work as a video editor.

This secction is always growing, for I'm always looking for new projects to work on.
Teaser "Corrida das Blogueiras - Ano 4"
I was first invited to work on this project to edit its teaser. For this video I worked with the art direction team at researching to help create a visual design and concept that would be coherent with the editing style. The pacing was achieved using the song created for the season. There's a lot of masking on this video to hide some "noises" on the background, such as ceiling lights and the studio structure, specially during the runway takes. The colour grading was made on Adobe Premiere Pro, and it was fundamental to make it look brighter, removing the opaqueness seen on the raw material.

Lounge das Blogueiras: Ep. 03
As the fourth season of the show was being created, it was decided to have a new section of the show, the "Lounge das Blogueiras" (or "Bloggers' Lounge"), a behind-the-stages episode to show more interaction between the contestants. I created a editing style for this section, which was kept on the following season. I edited every episode of the Lounge section for the fourth installment of the series.
Google Meu Negócio: Larissa
This is the fourth episode of a series of videos made by Google to showcase the results of their Ads Academy project. There were a lot of different takes of day-to-day scenes from Larissa's life at her home, and the idea was to use those takes to help to tell her story with Google and the Ads Academy project. I had to use some special effects to hide some brands' logos like the Apple one at her laptop.

Archtrends Portobello: Fábrica
This is the first episode from a series of videos made by Portobello to give their costumers a better idea of the manufacturing process of their products. I edited the first three episodes. Since it was taped on a handheld camera and at open work spaces, besides building a clear storytelling using a selection of nearly 300 takes, one of the most important part of the work was stabilyzing the camera and improving the audio, which had a lot of interference from the surroudings. For the sound mixing I had to use Adobe Audition, since the tools available on Adobe Premiere Pro weren't enough to make the audio soung good. I made both the opening and ending titles for this video. For that, I used Adobe After Effects.

Archtrends Portobello: Fábrica
This is the second episode of the same series of videos from Portobello. The same camera and audio issues were present in the process of editing this video, maybe even more, since it was taped inside their industrial site.
Portobello na Prática
Before working with them on the series, I worked in editing tutorials on how to use some of their products, helping costumers to properly install and use them.
Foquinha: "Baphos de Novembro 2023"
When I worked for Dia Estúdio, I edited a few episodes of this section, called "Baphos do Mês" (or "Monthly Gossips"), and I was later called by Foquinha's team to edit some other videos for this section as a freelancer later on 2023. All the videos on this section are made using green screen, so one the most important part of the work was improving the colour to make sure the keying was in the best quality possible, and also creating a background with the help of Adobe Photoshop's generative AI that would fit both the dimesions and the colour of the video.

Jonas Maria: "Vlog de viagem para Nova York"
This is the first travel vlog made by youtuber Jonas Maria, and also the first travel vlog I'd ever edited in my career. For that reason, I was given full creative freedom to create an editing style from scratch. Creating a consistent and clear storytelling using mostly random takes from the trip was the key factor in this work, because not only it has to be clear, but the pacing has to be on point to engage viewers. The effects used on the video were either acquired from effects databases or created/enhanced by me.
Amazon Prime-Day: Pós-venda
Amazon Prime-Day is a campaign made by Amazon to advertise products sold by them on their website, featuring giveaways of vouchers for discounts on purchases for their clients. I was invited to edit the post-sales video which was used by the company to showcasethe results of the campaign. Most of the transition effects were acquired from effects database, but all the text in the video was made using either Adobe Premiere or Adobe After Effects.
Nátaly Neri: "Diário de Obra #2"
I started working with Nátaly in late 2021, being one of the first channels I edited for. After editing a few videos, they asked me to help creating an editing style for a new series of vlogs showing the renovation work she was making in her new house along with her partner, Jonas Maria. The work included both editing and a bit of motion design, specifically the handwritten texts and the transitions used during the video.
Nátaly Neri: "VLOG de um final de semana"
Just like the other vlogs I brought up in this portfolio, the key factor was creating a clear storytelling, making sure the pacing engaged the audience. The sound mixing was quite important for this video, since a lot of it was taped outdoors. The colour grading was also an important thing to keep in mind while editing, because every take was made on a different location and time of the day. The colour grading was done directly on Adobe Premiere Pro.
Mappa - Precision or Accuracy: is there a difference?
I worked with Mappa during my internship, both assisting in the production process and editing their videos. This work included, besides the actual editing, color grading and sound editing.
Depois das Onze: "Precisamos de terapia!"
Depois das Onze was the first channel I edited for when I started working at Dia Estúdio. Prior to that, I had only edited more "serious" videos, normally with educating content. Editing comedy videos was a challenge, since they have a very different pacing from educative videos. The video was entirely recorded on a green screen, and the main goal was to bring back the editing style they used to have before the pandemics, period during which they only made videos at home. Since they had a very strong fanbase, it was very important to bring back an specific feeling to the audience, which we knew we achieved by their response to the video.
É Culpa do Signo: Gabie Fernandes
"É Culpa do Signo" (or "The Fault is in the Stars", if you may), is a series of videos made by Deboche Astral, a channel on YouTube about astrology created by Vitor diCastro. It has a talk show format where every week they would have twelve different guests, each of them being from a different Sun astrological sign. I edited a few videos for this series.
Bielo Pereira: "A Semana de Arte Moderna"
Bielo Pereira is an influencer and entrepreneur who brings up several themes on her videos. I edited a few of her videos, being my first client as I started working at Dia Estúdio in 2021. The videos had a quite simple editing style, and the motion art wasn't very well structured. For that reason, they asked me to create some motion graphics to be used on her videos, and this was the first video that featured those. Apart from the opening title and the social media icons, all the effects and transitions on this video were made by me using Adobe After Effects.
